Very nice and small temple. Not crowded at all! I just had to write my name in the guestbook for the entry. If you’re close to the airport just take a Grab and drive to both temples in about 10min.

Plaosan Temple was near Prambanan and we visited this temple before heading to Prambanan to catch the sunset. There were two temples with three chambers, the temples were interesting to scale and great for pictures on a sunny day.

When I first arrived here the location of the temple was rather protruding. But the view turned out to be quite interesting. Near the rice fields, the suggestion is that if you want more interesting photos in the morning and evening it will be more...More

This temple is so under-rated compared to Prambanan nearby. Hardly any tourists around except local tourists. It is a beautiful temple, the ruins kind of added to the charm plus we were there just after sunset. Definitely hidden gem worth visiting!

My driver recomended a quick stop here, as we were driving towards nearby Prambanan, I'm so glad he did! This place is uncrowded, relatively small allowing you to appriciate how the parts of the complex fit together, and filled with stunning deep-cut bas reliefs. Much...More
