Jeep drive to popular places as you may find at any jeep agent. But the driver made it differently with his drift skill, with his sharing about life of the local before, during and after the eruption.

Merapi volcano is the active volcano in Jogjakarta area. Good experience here, you can hunting many photos in sunrise. Very recommended to enjoy sunrise early morning.

Would recommend the jeep safaris, it's worth having one of those trips. The trip will be dusty as expected in any volcanic area but the experience of sighting an active volcano is thrilling.

Merapi's inner core is currently swollen, placing it on high alert status, with climbing banned till it either settles down or releases some pressure

If you have a group or are willing to pay for the jeep yourself, the tour agent will take you whatever time you want. If it is a good idea tho - depends what you want to do, if you want to visit the museum and bunkers or... More
