Right across the street from İstiqlal Mosque which is the biggest mosque in eastern Aisa. Having a Neo-Gothic architecture, its nice and peaceful inside. You can visit and leave in 10-15 minutes. We coincided to the Sunday service. İnteresting to see a Roman Catholic Church...More

Jakarta Cathedral is huge. The interiors bespeaks of medieval, gothic structures. There's ample space and the ambiences denotes solemnity.

It's a nice old cathedral which you can visit and leave in about 10 to 15 minutes unless you're Catholic and looking to worship. I would plan a few activities around this visit

Yes, the Cathedral has an English mass, we attended one. I just can't remember the specific time.

The question is rather which church is nearest to your hotel. The cathedral will be pretty crowded for Xmas Eve mass and you need to be there few hours before to even have a chance to get a seat (likely somewhere outside... More
