Totally enjoyed the window shopping at the flea market of Jalan Surabaya. My hubby and I preceded the window shopping by visiting Giyantri Cafe. We sort of warm up our belly and refueled before the walk at Jalan Surabaya. I find the flea market interesting because you can find anything under the sun. I found beautiful arts, ceramic, wood works,... More

A historical location, but sad to say the quality is brought to question. The stores are filled with replica's while being promoted as genuine antiques. It is a rare find to discover anything of truly historical quality. Very disappointed.

More of an FYI to potential visitors, don't be disappointed when you visit. Most shops close at prayer times, so take it from my experience, visit outside of the "call to prayer". I only got a third of the way down the street when the shutters went down for midday prayer. Best to go early morning, As far as souvenirs... More

Its just a small market/shops along Jalan Surabaya. Worth to see if you like antiques. Most of the shops are selling same items - so take time to roam around before you buy. Dont forget to bargain!! ☺

It is a small yet very interesting market with lot of antiques on sale, just one lane market has bags shops, old music, gramophone shops, and artifacts shops. Not all the items are antique but it is nice to see Indonesian things and art there. Very good place for photography though. Go for a chillout evening.

Starting from the fact that asian people does not like antiques, it is quite hard to find some, or at very high prices (more expansive than in Europe!). If you want to find a place, with very various objects, this can be a good place to find it. Some are new ones, some are old ones, some are new, and... More

It is mostly wooden souvenirs but they are lovely and to the dollar, very affordable, they are carved by hand and the detail is amazing. You will definitely find a souvenir for anyone in your family here (if they like that type of stuff) they also had porcelain things and other stuff but the wood ones are the primary ones,... More

"Pasar Antik dan Koper" means Antique and Suitcase Market. So you can find few of (new) suitcase stores among antique stores. Although I've never been interested of buying anything, it's still fun just to browsing. It's also a nice walk, but the drainage behind the stores can be very smelly. The sellers were nice and let us took our time... More
