I found it amazing watching these gifted people, sitting on the ground, carving this beautiful wood into works of art. I would love to of invested in a piece but being unsure of the customs requirements, I resisted.

The shop is huge and full of wood carvings of various size. We ended up browsing for some time and nearly everyone from my group of friends left with souvenirs. I found a nice painted Buddha and a painted Buddha mask.

The gallery has wood carving pieces being worked on by Balinese men and women, who's skills have been inherited by their parents and grandparents. Unique art pieces of various sizes from small souvenirs to large chairs and tables.

There are many wood carvings at this gallery and remember to haggle with the price as the original price is never the final.
