Visiting this place allows you to see the countryside views of ubud, and thats about it! The place show cases a few instances of carvers actually making the woodwork, but its mainly just a place to sell these artwork to the tourists.

The craftsmanship of pieces were outstanding. Some pieces taking months to complete and all work crafted by hand from start to finish.Took home a few small pieces. Would have loved to buy bigger pieces, but costs to ship are expensive. (import costs ridiculous) This place...More

This village is located close to Ubud, and is a recognised centre of excellence for woodcraft. The artistry is excellent - moreso when you see the Artisans' VERY basic toolset - nothing fancy at all! Prices are of course pretty reasonable, but the main obstacle...More

The place has beautiful pieces. The problem is most of them are big sized and cant buy them and go back with them. Nevertheless worth the visit.

We walked from Ubud to visit the artisan shops of Mas. Their work is amazing and the talent these artist have is just amazing. I have to wonder where the wood is coming from since deforestation is a problem in this part of the world....More

This was an amazing visit, just watching the people sitting there just carving wood, they sit there for hours, found the shop itself was a little expensive but the craftwork that goes into it, had we been able to get away bringing some stuff home...More
