It is well preserved. Both portrait and statue of Confucius are nice. Dragons on the roof are well decorated.

Centered around the ancient architectural complex called Confucius Temple (Fuzi Miao), the Qinhuai River and Ming City Wall string up major attractions such as Bailuzhou, Laomendong, and Grand Baoen Temple, forming an open scenic area that combines natural scenery, history and cultural sites.

Unlike thousands of other temples, this is a good one to see at night as it has lots of lights, dance performances, and a labyrinth of shops with souvenirs all around. Take a lot of pictures. Prepare yourself for crowds inside and outside this temple area. It's very popular!

Just another temple , however this one is dedicated to Confucias. Interesting place to visit to learn a bit more about the man. There are English descriptions so as a foreign tourist you will be able to follow the exhibitions.

Plenty of other small or big museums nearby, we spent roughly 4 hours in this area. Confucius temple as such great as well, and lots of small shops and restaurants to have a coffee or snack. One of the must see areas in Nanjing. From here, we walked about 20-30 min to the Gate of China (City Wall Museum and access to the actual wall).

Despite the light rain, the streets were alive and active. The shops were well lit and fun to browse. The snacks and sundries were plentiful and varied.

We enjoyed walking around here at night seeing the many lights and side streets. There a quite a few restaurants and shops to go to as well. It definitely comes alive at night and can be crowded near the entrances.

The temple itself sounded and looked more like a club when we went in March 2021 and the lantern displays looked like new setups. There is a canal that goes through this area with boats.

The closest metro is Fujimiao Station (Confucious Temple Station). You can easily walk to Bailuzhou Park from here.

Didn't find this area too interesting. Filled with really touristy shops and snacks

Took the boat ride, really was eager to get off. not much to see.

Found a couple small museum and house type places within the complex. There wre the most interesting thing about the area.
