Pearl Spring has been the top sightseeing spot north of the Yangtze River in Jinling (present-day Nanjing) since ancient times. The resort features undulating hills, part of the eastern extension of Laoshan Mountain. Visitors are impressed by grotesque rocks, steep peaks, lush woods, secluded deep valleys, emerald waters, and springs that accompany the floating clouds, fully demonstrating unrestrained scenic grace. It is renowned for its elegant landscapes, unique rock formations, beautiful waters, and marvelous springs.

it costs too much, no matter time or fee of cableway. but it is suitable to gather with families, children and elders staying there in a whole day. Not really for foreigners or tourists. it is weird to have amusement park in 4A scenic zone....

This is a scenic park that contains some very clear lakes (because of the springs), many restaurants, and a coffee shop. It is very easy to walk around and children will like it.

I found it a great place - but not for all people. Check into the details BEFORE going there. Not too costly for what you get and expect to spend most of the day relaxing.

Great park for a day out! There are many beautiful lakes etc to look at. Marvel at the amazing 180 BBQ's with people using them - almost a Guinness record surely for the most BBQ's in one place! The walk up to the wall is steep and takes about 2+ hours - better to go by the chair lift.
It has a zoo and animal performances as well. Just keep in mind this is a Chinese zoo and so living conditions are different from Western Zoos. Also the animal performances include dancing bears. The park itself is very enjoyable and it is lovely to mingle with the locals here.
