Beautiful and very moving tribute to the multitudes who lost their lives in what was one of the saddest tragedies in 20th century history.

There is nothing subtle or 2nd rate about this huge museum. A beautiful and well thought out facility, it makes you think, and perhaps a bit uncomfortable, but Is very educational. I read Iris Chang’s book The Rape of Nanking, and felt that the museum...More

A definite must-see when in Nanjing - there's no entry fee. I don't speak Mandarin and didn't have a guide but everything was very clear. Such a cruel event and so good to see the positive and future-forward messaging.
