This really is a beautiful well looked after park. So peaceful and relaxing. Perfect for a few hours away from the speed of HK. We took the mtr to Lok fu and then it’s about 10 walk. Not well signed that we could see.

The Walled City is an interesting insight into Hong Kong's history. The "old" city was demolished in the 1990's to create a very pleasant park. However, the interesting part is the museum which has interesting displays to show what life was like living in this...More

In the sea of concrete that is HK. This garden offered some relief from the hurley burley. It was interesting to learn about the history of the site and to see what has been created from it. Nice planting and layout and nice to see...More

The park was originally the site of the historic Walled City, of which a few relics still remain on the site, most notably the former south gate of the apartment complex. The area is easily walkable in just under a few hours with older and...More

This formal Chinese park is located on the site of the notorious Kowloon Walled City, where vice and crime was the norm in the 70's. The area was demolished and this park put in its place. Great installations, water features, exhibits and interpretive pieces (including...More

There are two sections there - the Walled City section and a small park. I don't recall seeing anyone riding bicycles there. Perhaps for the small park, children can ride their bicycles.
