This is close to so many great areas. Very vibrant and so many shops. Close to the Ladies Market We spent the whole day in this area. Got lost but people very so helpful and friendly...directed us to the bus.
Overwhelming. To many people and the feeling of going to be robbed all the time in your head...get a local tourgide to accompany..there are litteraly thousands of shops/stalls to buy from.
Coming from South Africa we were a bit paranoid about safety.

There is so much to do in this neighborhood. It is rated the “busiest district in the world”. There are plenty of shops and restaurants. The Ladies Market is located here. This is a must see place to experience the local culture.

You have to walk around Mongkok to experience the crowds, the mainlanders thronging the jewelry shops, the Ill tempered, brusque stallholders and small shop holders. The traditional food. The crappy food markets. The grubbiness of Shanghai St. All part of HK. A lot different from...More

If you're asking as a tourist, they have a few blocks known as Sneakers Street, Fa Yuen Street, in Mongkok. I've know way of knowing for sure, but I'd be comfortable with most stores there. In fact I presumed many were factory stores. If you're looking for specific brands, I'd check their websites.
