Only five minutes walk from the Peak Tram lower terminal this is a large walk through aviary and if you like birds it is pleasant enough, although there aren't many interesting species to see. It is clean and well tended and I guess kids would...More

Walked through Hong Kong park and went through the aviary. The birds are tame and feed at feeders close to the path. This is a really well done aviary

Beautiful, airy, immense aviary which runs down a hill in Hong Kong Park.with plenty of trees, water, and is named after a former HK Governor. Were very impressed by the wide variety of South East Asian birds ( not HK birds). Utterly charming place and...More

We visit the Aviary every time we are in Hong Kong and it always grabs our attention. I worked with Edward Youde many years ago in New York which adds an extra dimension. A lovely man.

Although the hornbill cages were disappointing- too much wire- the walk through aviary is brilliant. 600 birds from 70 or so species, good information boards detailing many species, gorgeous rainforest plants- an absolute delight. As birdwatchers we were entranced, especially after the disappointing aviaries in...More

When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies
with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The

to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open
late into the night and there just happens to be a
street party every weekend. Although everything seems
to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of
