As someone else says, for that number a taxi to / from ferry. As for the tram itself, booking ahead might save some queuing and bear in mind if buying tickets at the tram kiosk, they only take cash! We went in the evening... More

If you pre purchase then you can skip the long queues waiting to Purchase tickets and go through the priority lane.
