The street market is not so large, nor does it have many food restaurants I would rather recommend ladies market for street shopping. It is only a couple of kms far and has more options to shop

Interesting but mainly the type of tack souvenir you find everywhere. Great for kids / teenagers who want to spend small amounts. Pretty small market.

This market is amazing. Hundreds of stalls selling everything from key rings, handbags, music, clothing, food etc. A really wonderful experience in a very vibrant city. Just jump in a taxi and ask for Temple Cstreet, everyone knows it. Beware pick-pockets though.

Famous Night Street Market in Hong Kong. It's quite the same as other markets even in my country. I tried to find rarely thing as souvenir to bring back home, but couldn't find one. If compare with Stanley Market, the price is much cheaper here...More

Street stalls here charge restaurant rate. No big dish comes below 50HKD, typical rates are 60-70HKD while some even go up to 120-150HKD. Most of the sea food is available here. I ended up eating Caviar noodles which looked good in the menu and costed...More

I would not waste my time buying anything from the markets here. All the vendors were rude and nothing really of quality on display. Variety was next to nothing unless you are interested in buying meth pipes where there was a endless supply! On the...More

We enjoyed ourselves but it didn't offer the same products or as many choices as the Ladies Market. The street food was worth it & the experience but wouldn't go again. I would just do the Ladies Market from 1pm onwards.

Most famous Local Street in HK. You have to be here to experience lifestyle of local folks in HK. Streets are packed with small shops, eat out joints and over the evening place is just swamped with tourists. Really nice place to do some local...More

It is your typical night market experience. Go for the food and the bargains or simply a nice stroll to see what is being offered.

This is a place where you go and tell others that you have been there. It's very crowded and prices not as good as Ladies Market in Mongkok. Definitely a place for tourists and get a feel of how the locals live. Go to the...More

Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighborhood is where you
will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong
Kong. Not as glamorous or busy as its neighbors Mong
Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma
Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on
their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area
makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in

I was there in September last year and recall walking around 11pm and everything was still hustling. I went twice during my 72 hour visit to Hong Kong (stayed nearby at Eaton) and first visit around 8pm was packed full of... More
