Lamma Island's hiking trail is a pleasant walk between serene Sok Kwu Wan and vibrant Yung Shue Wan. The path is generally flat and offers a nice view of the island as well as Aberdeen.

So to start. Take the pier 4 ferry, pay exact amount at entry with coin available at booth. We hopped off at Yung Shue Wan in deference to recommendations of Sok Kwu Wan. The recommendation was that it was an easier walk from Sok Kwu...More

Great way to get out of the city and enjoy wonderful views and end it all with a swim in the South China Sea. Be sure to eat at one of the dock side fish eateries.

If you are fond of hiking then this is the place to go. We had experts with us, so managed to walk through this trail, which was really awesome. Please avoid the hike during rains.

Ignore the guidebooks, this trail is substantially more hilly than anyone reports. Perhaps we took it too fast, but coming from Lamma, the trail vaults upward after the beach and keeps climbing consistently. Yes, it is a paved trail and not particularly tricky to walk...More

After reading reviews, I approached this hike from Sok Kwu Wan, walking towards Yung Shue Wan, and there is one long and steep section towards the end that way, walking Down. I can see how coming the opposite direction would have made the start of...More
