There are so many flower shops in this area. In the early evening especially, it can be a really colourful spectacle. Worth taking the MTR to the Prince Edward Road MTR station and taking a short walk to this area🌺🌷🌻🌹🌲🍷🧧🍹

This is an interesting place to visit. Most stores look just like any regular flower shop. It is the abundance of plants on display outside each store that gives the place the character.

This is a feature street market in Mongkok located just north of Prince Edward West Road, around a 5 minute walk from both Prince Edward and the Mongkok East MTR Stations. The Mongkok Flower Market has dozens of shops and is worth seeing anytime of of the year. However, it is particularly interesting now during the Chinese New Year season.
At this time of year, the flower market is thriving with shops and added stalls filled with seasonal flowers, plants and decorations. You'll be able to see daffodils, orchids, chrysanthemums and holiday specials including Narcissus, peonies, kumquat (mandarin orange) plants, bamboo shoots, colourful willow stems and cherry blossom stems amongst others.
Do expect crowds when you plan to visit the Flower Market but especially during the Chinese New Year - to a point of being uncomfortable in the evenings and weekends. As such, consider midday weekday visits during CNY when things are more manageable and its easier to take pictures.

This is a pleasant visit when there is no rain. You can spend 20 mins to an hour or so depending the aim of your visit. If you don’t intend to buy any products, just take a walk (it’s like 2 or 3 streets). Don’t expect to many take photos with the flowers as they are for sale and retailers may not like people posing around. It’s very near the train station which makes it an easy visit. Expect crowds if you go before Chinese New Year. Otherwise, it should not be too crowded.

Flower Market Road is a centuries-old flower market in Mong Kok. Always popular among both locals and tourists, it becomes extremely crowded before major holidays and festivals. Price remains cheap and the variety is remarkable. Lovely place to explore.

We had a beautiful day at the flower market. Once we found it, several streets are mainly for flowers, plants, trees and pottery.
The further in you explore, we noticed the prices were cheaper. Some people with negotiate prices but others will not. I had trouble finding a crystal vase for flowers. Everything you see is ceramic or glass.
A wonderful place for girls to shop.

...which is such a shame because wandering round here and picking up inexpensive plants is such a treat! Some of the shops on the main and surrounding roads are absolutely stunning, completely bedecked with flowers and plants of all kinds, some of which was honestly like being in a tropical greenhouse or zoo habitat. We’ll definitely be back to pick up some more very soon.

We visisted the flower market just before Chinese New Year. Lots of beautiful flowers, orange trees, orchids (even blue ones) and others that i have never seen before. However, it was very, very busy (i presume because of Chinese New Year coming up) if you dont like masses of people packed in to small spaces i don't recommend going at this time of year.

To discover the Flower Market the closest MTR station is Mong Kok East, all I could think of as our walking group passed by was how do they sell all of these flowers, store after store selling flowers of all kinds. It would be one of the prettiest sights in Kowloon.

Pros:
1. The high variety of plants and garden features makes for an interesting and pretty stroll.
2. The plants are really cheap and high quality, a dozen roses were only £6 which is nothing compared to UK prices.
3. All of the shop fronts and stalls are along one road which makes it easy to find and see everything.
4. No pushy sales or bothersome staff - everyone was very relaxed and you are just left to look around which is refreshing in a market environment.
Cons:
1. The main activity is looking at garden features/flowers which might not appeal to everyone.
Overall, a sweet market with lovely plants and a relaxed atmosphere.

What is the best time to visit Flower Market Road? For best display of flowers :)

Not sure if there is a ‘best’ time. It seems that the displays are plentiful all day. I went late morning and it was a spectacular riot of colors both on the sidewalks as well as in shops.

For one single rose, about 10 hk dollars, depending on whether it is rare or not. For a simple corsage for wedding, how simple is simple. If you make it clear it is for wedding, several hundred is minimum.

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia127 contributions
BY METRO
Step 1: Get your bag from the airport and pass the customs.
Step 2: Go ahead to Airport express train station there is 2 stops and ask ticket counter wish one.
Step 3: there is a free bus take you to your hotel but you need to ask in the ticket counter and later to make sure in wich bus.
THAT WAY I DID IT BY MYSELF WHEN I ARRIVE.
BY TAXI:
Step 1: After customs ask where the Taxi Area and will cost you more.
I TAKE A TAXI WHEN I LEAVE HONG KONG MY FLIGHT IN 5AM

Can you buy seeds at the flower market? If so how much are they?

You can buy them there but they are not cheap compare to the U.S. prices. Also, if you don't live in HK I would be very careful as most countries don't allow to bring seeds inside the country.

If you are shipping or taking just make sure you can because you don't want to get stopped crossing borders with seeds and have problems.
