The Nunnery is an excellent example of traditional Chinese architecture and also has beautiful gardens and Bonsai trees. The Nan Lian Gardens are beautiful with its sculptured trees and lake filled with colourful carp. A very peaceful place to spend some time.

This is a beautiful garden. It was one of the highlights on my 7 day trip to Hong Kong. The vegetarian restaurant behind the waterfall was also delicious. I would recommend this garden as one of the must sees in Hong Kong.

In the middle of the concrete/high rise/traffic jungle of Hong Kong, is this spectacular must visit oasis. I’m giving it a 5* review but you should visit it yourself.

This was my second time at this garden. It is open until 9pm but the Temple and Nunnery closes at 5pm. Great place to relax and enjoy the walkways, gardens, and koi pond.
