What a feather in the cap of China producing this Olympic Area which is utilized by locals. The Birdsnest Stadium is amazing and there was a concert on the day we visited. The Cube aquatic center is being used by locals, as is the whole...More

This is a must visit place. Very well maintained. Beautiful architecture and landscaping. Good for an evening walk.

We visited the Olympic park in the evening when the buildings were illuminated in beautiful colours, and walked through the length of the park where many people were either visiting and taking pictures, or dancing together! There are many shops and stalls to buy food...More

The park will be well lit at night. You get to see the beauty of the buildings when they come to life after sunset. Again, expect a lot of tourist.

The air quality should be ok. I wouldn't bother with the tour. Just pay at the entrance and you can make your own way up to the roof. There might not be a lot to see though.

There was 1 shop close to the metro stop. They were showing a video of the olympics. We watched this to see how the sited looked at the time of the games but no idea what else they were selling.
