This impressive and beautifully painted gate is located at the south end of Tiananmen Square and is the gate for the inner city of Beijing. It is easily seen as you enter the square and is a great meeting point because you cannot miss it.

One of the few gates left in the city. This majestic looking gate located at the south end of Tiananmen Square is sitting stately as if it's guarding the Forbidden City. Quite a sight to see.
