Didn't really impress me as much as the rest of the park did. I did get a few good photos there, but the hall was (for me) just ok.

It is said that this corridor is the longest corridor in the world that houses paintings. It’s beautiful and relatively well maintained, although it was too crowded and so many people (mostly domestic tourists) were sitting along the corridor. This place is just too crowded...More

Very much a part of Chinese architectural style. This long corridor was built during the Emperor Qianlong's era specifically for his mother in order that she could enjoy the garden and lake area even when it was raining or snowing. The covered corridor has been...More

There are more than 14,000 hand painted pieces of art along the corridor. Each one depicting a different scene. Take your time and admire them.

As corridors go this is most certainly a long one. To be honest its like a lot of old Beijing and / China historically fascinating and it's constantly amazing to see what they built and the detail they went to.

This is covered in paintings and seems to go on forever. Go on a week day and you'll find it crowded but manageable. Apparently it's unbearable on the weekend or Chinese holidays. The residents love this place. and so do I.

This is a great place to visit, but when we went, it was rainning so we missed part of its attraction which is to see the locals using the prk around it to do many activities like playing cards and fly kites

In the summer palace, this covered wooden corridor is 728 meters long and painted with 14000 paintings, mainly on the roof . Was built by emperor Qianlong in 1750 . At the end stands the marble boat .
