Song Qingling was the wife of Sun Yat Sen, she loved China & her former home, on the northern side of Hou Hai lake, houses memorabilia. The gardens surrounding the house a lovely.

Former Residence of Soong Ching Ling is available from 9:00 to 17:30, I came here when it was 9:00 and finished my visit at 10:30, so visitors usually have ample time to visit. It's really convenient to get here since Beijing's subway covered nearly everywhere...More

I spent a very enjoyable afternoon here. Very relaxing and interesting former home still furnished is it was originally. The outside of the grounds is a very large lake surrounded by shops and cafes.

This mansion is situated in the hutong district, by the lake and combines historic buildings, rooms and furniture, as well as a charming garden and a small but very interesting memorial museum. A must if you are interested in the Revolution.
