What a surprise to see all these dragons in different vivid colours. Difficult to imagine how it was built and who had worked on it.

This dragon screen in Behai Park was constructed in 1756 during the Qing Dynasty. This glazed-tile screen has 2 identical sides each with nine dragons. Beautiful and a magnificent work of art, the colours are still vivid. Worth a visit if in the park.

Check it out if your in Beihai Park (I think). I have been told by locals that it is special because it has dragons on both sides of the screen. I wouldn't make a special trip to see this though.

Had seen this in the guide book but its even more amazing in real life - go see it. The colours have stayed true to the original and the 3D dragons are stunning.
