This was a fantastic place to wander through, grabbing some great street food to snack on and just enjoy the ambience.

Elegant place, traditional small houses and shops to buy odds and ends. Small food corners with authentic Chinese delights. Have cash with you. Difficulty to communicate in English...

Wander into this small streets and alley and glimpse into the traditional house and way of life. Away from the very modern Beijing. No doubt a bit of getting used to it but you come away appreciate more on Beijing and life.

Had fun seeing the old hurting. It’s a very smart area that this was preserved. Some nice, small, old family homes, shops. Worth a visit

I am happy that I visited the Hutong area. Also, I took toured an individual complex and learned a lot during the tour. The tour afforded me a look into the traditional living style in Beijing and how difficult life can be. Highly recommend!

A wonderful old hutong with loads of traditional elements and Chinese character. It also has a very informative Hutong Museum and The Red Wall Garden Hotel is a great place to have a meal in their open air Courtyard Bistro.

We have done the Hutong tour on a rickshaw and it was very enjoyable, though I wouldn't say there is so much to see there. Nice to spend an hour or so
