Best way to reach using subway which reach east gate. Entrance fees Rmb28 ( up and down depend on season). So far highest we paid Rmb35.

Not on bucket list--go to Imperial Palace [Forbidden City] and Great Wall--preferably not Badaling. Walking arduous for those with problems, canes or wheelchairs.

The temple of heaven is huge and there are a lot of buildings and walkways within. It is worth seeing because of all the historical architecture. It is also right by Pearl Market, which is great for shopping after the temple.
