Worth the trip while in Beijing. Fun to do and see. The details of the buildings were beautiful. For less crowds try to not go on a holiday.

Truly amazing, to go back in time, there are lots of people around, so you can't spend much time looking into each building.

Enjoy the gardens and its surroundings a lot, the buildings are impressive but it does not require a lot of time. If you do not have much time, I prefer the summer space.

If it is not your first temple though then it's basically another temple. The ground are really nice to walk around, lots of nice open spaces. Good place for a picnic.

Get there by 6am, and you will see people exercising already. Main park opens earlier than the temple sites.
