Came across this as I cycled around Beijing, very odd shaped monument but a great view from the top, a lot of stairs to walk but well worth the effort for the view. I recommend it to see.

The monument itself is just ugly, but the museum on first floor(or basement, don't remember) sometimes has some really good exhibitions. You'd better check online first before going.
