Large monument located at Tiananmen Square. Gated off so were not able to go up close to it. Not really necessary as it is very large. Worth walking past to see it.

This very imposing obelisk in the middle of Tiananmen Square was built between 1952 & 1958 to commemorate those who died struggling for Communism.

This is a monument that commemorates those who fought for chinese communist party. Chinese communist party underwent hardships with japanese and former goverment now resides in taiwan. It is in the tiananmen square.

Ok but a little boring. Not much to see. Wouldn't go out of way to see it but if passing then a good place to go. Had a guide to explain.
