I guess this is one of the tourist things to do so we did it. But we had just spent the whole day seeing all the pyramids and so the story was old. Loved seeing the Sphinx lit up gave it character.

We watched the light and sound show from rooftop of Great Pyramids Inn. It was November, and the breeze was cold. You need woolen during December and January in the evening.

I am not to sure about the neighborhood, and I do not know if you can buy tickets on site - best is to go to the site for the show and ask
