We enjoyed the whole sound and light show - they have done a good job of telling the stories of the pyramids and the sphinx whilst using the artefacts to help tell the story. Get close to the front if you can as you get...More

Nightlife, especially with children in tow, is a bit complicated in Cairo so we took the advice of our tour company to check out this show. It was not particularly well-done, and while the pyramids are amazing to look at, you might enjoy sitting on...More

A bit dull, the lights on the Sphinx were the best. The voices were rather odd - sounded a bit like the guy from the carry on films. The history was sort of interesting if you're into that. By the end it did seem to...More

Really cool sound and light show. We were at the roof of marvil stone hotel and looked at it. It starts every night at 7pm and is in english, then later at night the show is in arabic. Tells the history of the three pyramids

The lights and effects are great. The audio was ok .. some voices were loud and clear and some not so much. The commentary didn't work so much for me. The cool breeze made it more difficult to focus. A good experience since I didn't...More

The Sound and Light show is charming. The seats are close to the Sphinx and Pyramids. Omar Sharif reads the narration. The location makes for a great experience as the Pyramids and Sphinx are lit up.There is a cafe and toilets nearby.

This is a very over rated show. Our expectations had been built up by tour guides and others but it was a sub-par experience. The story line is weak and apart from the three pyramids and the sphinx being lit up in turns there's really...More

The show was narrated by Omar Sharif (one of my favourite actors!); the delivery was good, but the content was not very illuminating

We watched the light and sound show from rooftop of Great Pyramids Inn. It was November, and the breeze was cold. You need woolen during December and January in the evening.
