This park is a nice change. Being able to sit in the grass and under a tree, as in Cairo there isn’t a lot of green elsewhere! When we went, there was a salesman walking around with a cart of water which was helpful and...More
...on a rather sandy city. Cairo do not have a lot of parks, but this one is really nice. It is the usual promenade place for local families with children, so very crowded during weekends. Closes at 5 PM!
This gem in the bustling centre of Cairo is a haven of peace and tranquility. We had lunch there which was magnificent with excellent food and service overlooking the extensive gardens. This is one attraction and eater not to be missed whilst in Cairo.
A beautiful green lung among the hustle and chaos of Cairo, the park is well maintained unlike the other parks in Cairo. A nice place to hang out and to watch the locals enjoying themselves. Must be a favorite place for the newlyweds to take...More

Take some time to visit this unique park, that is a gem amongst the kaos that is Cairo. Not many tourists know about it, so it makes it a perfect place to visit. Sit and reflect while enjoying the view over Cairo
So maybe I made the mistake of coming to the park on a weekend, however I thought it’s a park on a Saturday afternoon....how bad could it be? I later regret my decision. I’m not sure how, but about 1,000,000 people were in this park....More

Barziela, Al Azhar Park is a really widespread, huge attraction Park with many restaurants and Cafes. I know a lot of people have weddings and engagement parties in mostly Sudio Misr and it is within average prices of bookings a little less than 5 stars hotels in Cairo. I am not sure of the exact price and it is anyway changing according to inflation rate as everything else. You need to call their posted numbers whenever you want to book. I once had a gathering in a cafe over their and the minimum charge for a group of 25 people was 50LE; that was 3 years ago. So happy for your interest in the place, it is beautiful:)
