Absolutely amazing to be able to see such a feat of engineering and design. Definitely get the ticket to go into the Imhotep museum as well, one of the best designed small museums we visited.

The size and age is amazing. They were reinforcing the pyramid while we were there. One of the first built.

Visiting this ancient city of the Death you will feel that there is glory even in the afterlife. The ambiance of this place is amazing. Stepping into the graves adorned with reliefs and hieroglyphs the peaceful quietness far from tourist masses will let you rejoice.

A great visit to see the evolution of pyramid building. You can't go inside this one but it impressive to look at from outside.
