Don't miss this lovely shop, representative of the Chin, Naga and Karen communities.
The products are all home woven, with wonderful bags, purse, etc...at reasonable prices.
The lady speaks very good English and explains in details the patterns, colours of those precious exemples of artisanship.

At the end of our Myanmar journey we found this beautiful shop with the friendliest owners. They truly have the most detailed, authentic and pretty fabrics! Would have loved to buy everything (but unfortunately my backpack was already full and my purse empty, so only bought some small bags). So, make sure this is the first shop you enter when coming to Myanmar (to not encounter the same struggle as me)🤭

We found this little place on the Bogyoke Aung San market. They have beautiful, high quality and handmade Burmese items for a fair price. The people there are really kind and very helpfull. Thanks for the beautifull blanket!

What a great shop! While offering enough variety in prices all products are high-quality and handmade in Myanmar (it seems that most are from Chin state in the North of the country). Cheaper options include small bags/wallets for little more than a dollar, but even the more expensive cushion covers and blankets seem very good value for money, with excellent craftsmanship and very interesting traditional patterns. Definitely recommend to visit!

The workmanship in the material is indeed outstanding . We bought several items, and they were relatively cheaper than in the Western World. The lady who served us had impeccable manners, and though she helped us, she was never pushy.

I loved the shop and bought the place out of cushion covers. The staff were friendly and helpful in bringing out more stock in different sizes, colours and patterns when I kept changing my mind. It is a little hard to find, and you need to head up the stairs facing the street, go to the end of the outside corridor, and turn left at the end.
