A good hour walk up and down. Definitely the highlight is the 2pm feeding of the Kagu. What a fascinating bird and well done to all those involved in protecting and repopulating this national symbol.

The park was a nice surprise with a variety of birds, reptiles and monkeys. Really well maintained and easy to get around. Went during a week day so had to walk from the closest bus stop. The weekend bus takes you alot closer though.

This is a very good bird park with some small animals but it covers a big area on a steep hill so do the SEGWAY tour it is worth it. Really needs some walk through cages.

Travelled with our young family and extended family. Was a great trip despite not many animals. No normal zoo animals such as elephants, lions, zebras or such. Mainly all birds, ostriches, lorrikeets, monkeys and lots of spiders in huge webs! Overall we had a great...More

The main attraction of this park has to be the Cagous! They are a near-flightless bird, native to New Caledonia. Photos really don't do them justice; much cuter in real life, especially during a feeding session at the park. They are on the endangered list,...More

the zoological park is a great place to visit with the kids. We had a picnic in the shade of a tree and saw many birds including the famous kagou. A nice to do with the kids. Next time, we might take a guide.

Have been twice already to the parc while cruising South Pacific. The parc is a real highlight of Noumea. The colourful and rare white peacocks are just walking around the park with no restrictions, and the parrots are super cute to watch Watch your jewellery...More

An impressive park with many bird enclosures. It also has a dry forest circuit with regular stops and explanations about this very special forest. Not very easy to find in Noumea, so get your map ready!

Really loved the Parc - the animals were great and we got to have a scenic hike around the ‘panoramic’ trail. Definitely worth a visit, the staff were very friendly and there was lots of see (loved the ostriches!) however we were disappointed that the...More
