Noumea has great beaches, not crowded, white sand and clear water. I like Anse Vata. The only issue is that water is cold most part of the year.

Le Promenade is the place to be if you want mix local culture with fine food & shopping. Be prepared to fork out big bucks though. Noumea is tres expensive

Lots of eating places and shops near the main beach but head towards Chateau Royal past Level Roof restaurant for a better beach.

Beautiful sandy beach surrounded by palm trees. Reserved and separate areas for swimming, sailing and boating. Kite surf friendly.

The bay at Anse Vata has a walkway just about its full length of over a kilometre. It's a lovely place to walk at any time of day, and is particularly popular in the late afternoon, when you can also stop and watch some of...More

Book the Yellow Water taxi boat at Anse Vata, only takes 5 minutes from the shore to the Island.
