As much as you can snorkel the reefs around Noumea for yourself it’s still worth the visit to this aquarium to get the full spectrum of what marine life is around the area. Very fun and informative and lots of bright colors and happy turtles...More

A little expensive but a really interesting place with plenty so look at. There was a great range of marine life although I thought the turtle enclosure could have a been a bit more dynamic. Kids will love it.

Not cheap but worth the visit. Really well done. Although the turtle enclosure is a little sad and could be improved.

Took two friends, aquarium is alway fun and a vast selection of species from the lagoon. Clean and cool. Went just after lunchtime on a Monday and had the whole place to ourselves. Great info and interactive diaplays.

This aquarium won’t disappoint. Many small tanks and two large ones offer tremendous variety. Look for the stone fish and water snakes. Timing of visit to watch fish feeding is extra rewarding. You can bring your picnic lunch if you like - there’s a special...More

Albeit small, the Aquarium in Noumea is by far one of the aquariums I have seen in a long time. It is evident that they have planned their exhibits well and took the natural habitat of the fish into account. Definitely a place for young...More

I concur its about $20AUD per adult. We were there for about 90 minutes maybe 2 hours and it was amazing. One thing to be aware of is they don't accept foreign currency - not a huge issue but just make sure you either have... More

The aquarium cost 1500 Francs for the entry fee, around 20 $ Aud and 10 for kids. It's quite far to walk over there and too expensive to take a cab. Hop On Hop shuttles from Lyvai Tour, are available at the ship's terminal... More
