This cemetery is maintained by the Australian Government. It is neat and tidy and well manicured. The Rotunda on the hill provides a great outlook over the entire cemetery. It is a pleasant walk through so many graves; a time to reflect over the loss...More

We visited the war cemetery after completing the Kokoda track for the ANZAC service. What a privilege and an honour to walk through this sacred place. It’s well kept and maintained. Definitely worth a visit.

A very beautiful and well kept tribute for fallen heros. An honour to be able to pay our respects at such a special place in our history.

Beautifully maintained. Lovingly and respectfully cared for. So grateful are the PNG people. The rotunda of the missing names is a surreal place. The large shade trees are a lovely serene place to stand under and drink in the memorial. There is a registry at...More

Hi there, I was with friends who are used to driving in PNG, I wouldn't recommend you drive yourself if you are unfamiliar with PNG. The drive is not that far, about half an hour from memory.
