It is difficult to describe how wonderful and unique country is Papua New Guinea, and especially to put in words the first feelings and impressions to arrive and find one of a kind and so different world from what one has seen and lived so far. Me and my friend, we went together on this two weeks trip and the... More

I came just back from the sepik. I "booked" with Joseph Kone from Pagwe (tel: +67571214829, joseph.kone6@gmail.com). He didn't go himself, but sent us with his nethew Ioannis, who is a good guide. It was all very realiable, we paid the money cash on arrival and didn't have any problems. We paid 800 kina per person per day in a... More

I was lucky to do the Sepik River in the most authentic way possible for a westerner, and it surely remains as one very special and unforgettable experience for me. I did my one week river expedition with Kris, his wife Domenica, Susan and the boys from PNG Frontier Adventures. Susan has been living there for many years and is... More

Booked a tour including the Ambunti crocodile festival. The team made a great job under difficult circumstances. As it is also a kind of village support project, iniitated by Susan Baker, it is a good choice to go with them. It was a real down to the simply way of life experience,

I booked a Sepik tour (5 august - 9 august 2016) with PNG frontier adventures - Kris and Domenica Karis - with the help of Susan Baker - are doing an excellent job and I had a wonderful time in upper and middle Sepik. We were lucky to arrive in Tanggwisham (upper Sepik) the day of a new festival and... More

I had initially been keen to go to the Mount Hargan sing sing, but the more I read the blogs, the more I thought the middle to upper Sepik area was a better match for my interests. I wanted to go somewhere that was culturally rich, but with fewer tourists and closer interaction with locals. I chose to go with... More

My wife and I went to the Sepik River last spring (2015). It has been one of the best trips we have done so far. The Sepik River is a remote part of Papua New Guinea where you can observe nature and have cultural encounters hardly found elsewhere. Even considering the huge amount of money it cost to visit the Sepik... More

Dear Travelers, Please be informed that a guide from Papua New Guinea named Caspar Dama is a Scammer! He organized a tour for our family in August 2015. He always lied to us, behaved absolutely unprofessionally, took a lot of money but gave the least possible service, often refused to give accommodation, services and food already paid for. Thus we,... More
