Gorgeous church. Beautiful interior with many interesting things to look at. Great place to take a minute from a long day touring the city. Ideally located in the city, with a lot more to do and see near by.

another marvellous church which breaths histroy and grandesse - its not too spacy, just enough to give the golden iconoclast the right frame.

This is a beautiful church in the city centre of Bogota. As many other churches in Bogota, they can be visited by the tourists.

The interior of the church is decorated magnificently and has an elaborately rich altar piece glistening with gold. Far more spectacular than the larger but more austere main cathedral in Bogota

The gold color takes your breath away. I love the contrast of the inside and the outside, even the church next door, which is much more humble.

There are several Catholic Churches in Bogota that are very beautiful, but I love this one the most.....it is more simple (less gold and silver) than many, but the wood designs in the interior are very special.....if your Catholic or just enjoy church designs, this...More

A stunning setting for mass (one every hour on Sundays between 8 and 1), full of devout Colombians. The church is over 500 years old, but alive as it has ever been.

We stumbled into this place randomly after touring the museum of gold. It is spectacular on the inside. I'm told in Colombia you get three wishes when you visit a new church so don't forget them on your trip here.
