The Heritage Village was very interesting. I advise taking time through the museum. Also the vendors had neat items for sale. Dip your toes in the beach. Our driver said it was the Indian Ocean. I’ll have to check google for confirmation.

Its nice to get to know the history of the country..how they lived years ago and how the produce their things..there is a small market where you can go shopping..really nice and not expensive.

We arrived at 3.15pm and told no entry allowed.

I would do a trip to Qasr Al Hosn... its in the heart of town and has a lot to offer. You could always do the Heritage Village in the evening. The village is interesting, but the Qasr has more to offer.
