I stopped off as part of the Big Bus tour. Nothing to see here. I thought it was closed until I saw the security guards. Nice views of the city but displays were poor, just a few photos and pots. Maybe I came at the...More

The Heritage Village was very interesting. I advise taking time through the museum. Also the vendors had neat items for sale. Dip your toes in the beach. Our driver said it was the Indian Ocean. I’ll have to check google for confirmation.

As there is so much shopping and sightseeing on offer in Abu Dhabi the Heritage Village is disappointing - run down and very touristy.

Honestly it was so hot that we didn't spend much time there. It was in the middle of August and temperature were at least 40C. There was some animals you could see, a small museum of antiques, gift shop, and houses that were built to...More

Worth a visit as it gives a nice potted history of Abu Dhabi before it evolved into a city like any other city. Do visit the small museums - my favourite was the display of faded crab and lobster carapaces with a label that read...More

We were in a tour package and this place was one of it. Village is very nice and historic. Knowledgeable and educational for the students if you love history. Indoor museum is great with lot of historic UAE royal family members. Restaurants are there to...More

It’s great visit there on June 26. This place was part of our Abu Dhabi City tour for Dubai. It’s really memorable to ancient Abu Dhabi. Now everything were changing. But out side temperature was very hot. Everybody need umbrellas, hats ,scarf for sunshine protection. Otherwise...More

Not a great deal to see here. It’s far too hot just to wander around somewhere that doesn’t offer a whole lot. Souvenirs available.

I would do a trip to Qasr Al Hosn... its in the heart of town and has a lot to offer. You could always do the Heritage Village in the evening. The village is interesting, but the Qasr has more to offer.
