Overview
More
Built on two levels, The Souk is an interesting fusion of Arabian architecture tied into a Venetian theme. Water canals meander through The Souk, through our sister hotel The Shangri-La, as well as The Traders Hotel, with abras ferrying hotel guests and visitors throughout the Qaryat Al Beri Resort. Consisting of Retail and Food & Beverage (F&B) outlets, The Souk is where tradition molds with modernity & a choice for both leisure and business in having more than 15 high-end restaurants and cafes that offer culinary treats that circle the globe. Alongside a unique shopping experience in Abu Dhabi, The Souk has a number of shops that everyone will enjoy based on their own desires & needs as the selections range throughout across all groups from children to grown adults. Convenience and overall basic need are also not forgotten within The Souk, with a supermarket and a pharmacy that guests and regulars find very convenient.

Contains gold, diamond, jewellery and perfume shops. Has a few souvenir stalls and several restaurants. There is also a small but well stocked super market.

We stayed at a nearby hotel and visited the souk several times. There’s a number of restaurants (all reasonably priced by UAE standards) some souvenir and jewellery outlets, a couple of coffee shops, a mini market. It’s small and intimate and a good place to...More

Access to the souq for pedestrians is dangerous as lots of cars always on the move, from all sides, not designed for guests walking from the Shangri-La hotel apartments (safely) which is a shame. Oh and look out for the hotel buggies, often driven at...More
