An incredible piece of architecture, filled with wonderful art, fantastically curated! This amazing building seems to emerge from the water and keeps on surprising right through to the final courtyard as you exit. Beautifully curated, it displays artwork from different periods next to one another...More

The Louvre Abu Dhabi is great, and you don’t need a whole day (or several days) to see it like you do at the Louvre in Paris. The museum had a really tidy collection, and it’s displayed very well and is uncluttered. You can definitely...More

We had big expectations on the Louvre Abu Dhabi and all in all it worth the money and the time spent there even if some shadows obscure a little the experience. The content of the museum is very very good in terms of masterpieces exposed....More

The building itself is a work of art, the paintings and artefacts in the Louvre will take your breath away. It’s a real honour to have seen such work from the most famous artists in our history. A must if you are visiting Abu Dhabi

Very impressed by the Louvre Abu Dhabi. We did not expect the quality of works they they had on display here. It is an extraordinary building also. Cafe facilities are disappointing and the layout confusing, but these do not detract from a great day out.

I was scheptical on the idea but curious enough to go and visit. The building is very interesting and it’s not huge or overimpressive. Just perfect. The collection is of high quality but what it’s really very interesting is the curator choice of showing pieces...More

Its worth the visit. And was surprisingly crowded but this was on a Friday. A wide range of Middle Eastern and Arab culture, and so much history and art in one place! There are a few replicas which was disappointing. Take the tour if you...More

This is a huge museum and covers many different regions and themes. There is lots to see. I hired an audio system that helped to bring some of the artefacts to life and it was a good investment ( 20 Dh, from memory). Plenty of...More

We took the offered tour, which was a good way to be introduced to the concept behind the layout and collection. Will need to make another visit to cover exhibits not covered during the tour. Innovative and interesting architectural design

You can have an idea of the architecture by staying outside but you will miss a lot particularly the light going through the roof and giving this feeling of being in the shadow and at the same time being outdoors. I believe... More

10-8, indeed. A piece of unsolicited advise: plan your visit two hours before the sunset, trying to finish the tour as the daylight enters through the dome. Go outside to what seems to be an amphitheater. That's the... More
