Great experience! Don’t go during day time because it’s hot Try to find the store with the pearls!!! Nice place to buy souvenirs and to feel like you are actually a part of Qatar life Don’t forget to go and see the hawks!

What a truly amazing place. Comes alive of an evening with everything you could possibly want to buy. Ate at one of the street stalls - great food great atmosphere and great price. Indulged in a Turkish desert and took in the sites

This was a great experience for a first-timer to Qatar. I am not much of a shopper, but I love roaming through traditional markets. Much less crowded than the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, but with all the charm. Definitely try a Bread of Rgag outside...More

Not at all for what I bought (a caftan). Haggle if prices aren’t marked. I didn’t find it expensive by US standards.

About the mosque there is a mosque inside the souq waqif im just not too sure if its close to the hotel that u eill gonna stay.
