If you are in need of a quick nice bite, this street facing American University of Beirut has a series of restaurants (sitting or standing) where you can eat anything that comes to your mind from local food to international dishes.

a street worth a walk anytime. just off AUB campus, with shops and food and life at all times of the day buzzing with students and meeting joints

It's ok, but I couldn't see what the fuss was all about. Lots of students walking around (the American University is here) getting food from chain outlets - a lot of them global brands. Am sure it was all lovely, but not the authentic experience...More

This street is full of standard chain restaurants, just serving AUB students. I found it hard to go wrong, but hard to be dazzled.

if you want fast food, this is the street. all possible fastfood restaurants are there. Also walk pass the american University main entrance, nice buildings.

Struggling to maintain its traditional ambiance amidst highrise upmarket apartment blocks. If you decided not to study in Jafet. I would recommend of ou study at the Urbanista caffe adjacent to Paul near the medical gate. Also there is Dar Bistro in Wardieh Hamra. Try the medical library in the nedical building... More
