Easily viewed from the corniche, the rock is an impressive sight and great place to watch the sunset. There are some boat tours that take you around the rock

Lebanon is an amazing country with many historical places and with turbulent history. Although the traffic is chaotic you feel perfectly safe. People are nice and friendly.

The rocks are nice to see, but the area is not good for swimming and a bit dirty, it is not a must see if you don't have a lot of time in Beirut

I f you go to Beirut you will for sure visit the pigeon rocks - also called Rouche rocks. Enjoy a coffee at the terasse with a marvellous view on the rocks but as well go down (there is a small path downhill) to the seaside and get another view on the rocks from already behind, combined with the Beirut Skyline.

Magnificent view on the Raouche, the only problem is the price/quality ratio which is not adapted. The prices are expensive

Just walk along the front and 3 or 4 locals will offer you boat rides. I didn't ask how much because I wasn't interested.

Not sure of the cost, but once you get to Rouche, there are many restaurants. One of them is called bay Rock. Right past it, is an entrance that leads you down to the sea shore. Your best bet is to stop in the restaurant, and ask them to help you get a boat ride. They will do it for free.
