Darband and its restaurants are a must-see in Tehran. The romantic (small) gorge and its illumination set a beautiful (and very iranian) stage for a great dinner. Take your time there.

Yes. There is a 2 person chair lift that goes up and you walk back down. I can't remember how much it was but not that expensive. They also take a photo of you on it with Tehran in the background before you get to the top... More

take metro from city to tajrish, stroll 30 mins through the bazaar. Then find a taxi or car to go up there, please bargain. they will take you the top, then you are the walking trail
