It is a city square in Tehran. Azadi Tower is in the square. It was designed by a young Bahai architect who fled Iran in 1979. It was commissioned by the last shah or Iran

This tower is ordered by the Shah! It is a a mixture designed of modern anf tradtional trends. It is located just near the Mehrabad air port. There is also an museum under it.

This beautifully designed monument dates back to the Pahlavi period. It used to be the highest building in Tehran in the early 70s!

It's a gorgeous structure. Must visit. Also, go up by the lift and have a look around Also, the small museum inside is worth a visit. Total time required is less than an hour.
