Not much to see in Riyadh, so go there. Cheap ticket (10 Saudi Riyals). You will learn a lot about the geological and historic background of the country.

The museum itself provides all information regarding, not only the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia but also the whole peninsula. Very well organized Visuals and audio materials complete the perfect presentation of the Museum.

I don't know the price. You could check on their website. I was an American Tourist and I was allowed in, but I was also with a Saudi family
