If you haven't been to Al Balad (Downtown) in Amman, you haven't been to Amman ! the simplicity and authentic places are beyond fantastic. Great food options as well.

You'll find the bazaars in downtown Amman, selling a wide variety of clothes, electronics, food and trinkets. Be sure to bargain here and you'll find many an interesting pick. It does tend to get crowded at times though!

Fun to walk around and see the markets and try various foods. It's a normal market that is bustling with people doing normal everyday things in Amman.

Too normal place, nothing special in it. No need to go and waste your time, no historical thing in it even. Not recommended and my review is 2/10

There are some interesting shops in Al Balad if you are a collector of coins, antiques, etc. Night life is vibrant and there are some awesome restaurants that dot the Rainbow Street, complete with music and great food.
