From their stories, the entire historical narrative of the period...More

This is a fantastic museum in that you are taken along a timeline during the days of the Palmach and experienced what they went through and what they were fighting for during the days before Israel became a state.

We took the guided tour in English. You wear headphones and are lead by a docent from room to room, where you "meet" a group of new immigrants and locals from pre-state Palestine who join the Palmach, and you come to understand the role of...More

The visit is a built tour where you receive an explanation and then an audio device, moving from room to room for films and other exhibits. The entire visit is just under 1.5 hours.
