The displays, especially the special exhibitions, were excellent. The layout of the museum is quite confusing, but the staff was very helpful. I found the cafeteria a little disappointing, but ok for a short rest.

Really excellent permanent collection with all the masters you'd expect to see, but the real highlights are the special exhibits with a distinctly Israeli perspective and, of course, the building itself.

Now, after it had been extended, it can be declared as one of the best art museums. The permanent exhibitions are interesting (from a really good modern art exhibition, through an excellent impressionism exhibition, to a classic art exhibition), and the permanent exhibitions are unique...More

There is a great deal to see here. We allowed an afternoon, which was long enough to see a current exhibition (Philadelphia Museum of Art - Impressionists) and a couple of permanent exhibits. We could easily have spent more time.

A great museum offering different art from photos, design, architecture etc. Anyone can find style what they like and spend a good few hours browsing through the galleries.

Some of the world's iconic modern art - Monet, Renoir, Picasso etc. in a showpiece of contemporary architecture. No need to trudge past rows of Kings and Popes on horses from the 1700s. If you love modern art do not miss it.
