The activity includes: archaeological digging, sifting, pottery examination and touring the National Park of Beit Guvrin with an exciting crawl through an unexcavated cave system. my kids had so much fun digging up pottery shards, and then climbing through a newly opened site. the staff were very welcoming, and the experience was educational and fun.

This is a hands-and-knees real dig for artifacts that helps the non-profit learn more and more about history. We did it at Tel Maresha and loved it.

We met the guides at a gas station outside of Beit Guvrin. I don't think that they arrange transportation for the participants. Groups arrived by car or with their own tour buses. This dig is at Beit Guvrin all year round... More
